REFUND POLICY
All Lifesong Wilderness Adventures expenses are incurred during camp preparation. Cancellations reflect the impossibility of recovering these costs for no-shows or withdrawals from any previously purchased camp(s), customs camp, and courses. Last-minute cancellations cannot be refunded.
1. If you cancel 30 days or less from the first day of camp, a 25% service fee will be deducted and retained from the total refund amount. No exceptions. If you purchased using PayPal, they no longer reimburse their fees after 90 days from the original purchase date. These fees will also be subtracted from your refund.
2. No refunds for Custom Camps or Programs.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Mark Wienert and Lifesong Wilderness Adventures reserve the right to cancel any camp at any time, for any reason. Paid registered students affected by a camp cancellation will be refunded in full, including tuition, shuttles, and equipment rental fees purchased. All course prices are subject to change at any time and without notice, but this does not affect classes purchased before the price change.
TRANSFERS
A student who wishes to transfer registration from one camp to another may do so upon request. However, there are no refunds or transfers of tuition fees for Custom Camps.
Students are responsible for all costs associated with late arrival or early departure, including transportation and, in the unlikely case of an emergency evacuation.
Also, in case of the unlikely event that unacceptable behaviors lead to expulsion, the participant will not be entitled to a refund of any tuition or transferred to another camp.
STANDARDS OF BEHAVIOR
A Lifesong Wilderness Adventures program begins at your arrival. All students are expected to maintain appropriate standards of behavior.
We strictly adhere to a drug-free, smoke-free, and positive learning environment for the health and well-being of our students and staff. We require students to abstain from any use of alcohol or recreational or illegal drugs of any kind for the duration of the camp. Tobacco smoking is not allowed.
Lifesong Adventures instructors and staff have the sole discretion to remove any student from a camp if they perceive the student to be endangering themselves, another student, or a staff member. A participant will be removed if believed to present a safety concern, medical risk, or behavior problem or if engaging in an illegal activity.
PRESCRIPTION and RECREATIONAL DRUGS
All prescription and non-prescription drugs taken at the time of your camp must be listed on the Medical Release Form. Failure to do so may jeopardize the health and safety of the student and/or group and may be grounds for removal from camp. Recreational drugs are not allowed.
MEDICAL & TRIP INSURANCE
Lifesong Adventures ADULT students are not required to carry medical or trip insurance, but we highly recommend that you do. While safety is our number one priority, we recommend that you purchase adequate health and trip insurance to cover unlikely situations such as personal injury, evacuation while in camp, or other situations that could occur. (See below)
TEENS UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE MUST HAVE MEDICAL COVERAGE TO ATTEND CAMP
Medical coverage is required. If adequate insurance coverage is not provided for teens under 18 years of age, Lifesong Adventures will need to cancel your acceptance and forfeit your registration. All parents or legal guardians of minor participants (those under 18 years old) must agree to these terms and submit information on the medical release form.
